The Austin weather has not been outdoor family friendly and today we were lucky enough to get some sun! Luckily the Domain hosted the “Rock and Chalk” which is how my family decided we wanted to end our Spring Break. The Domain is my favorite place to bring the family, it has everything to satisfy all my family’s hobbies. It has 2 playgrounds that both the boys enjoy (mainly the little stud but big brother enjoys taking him on it), it’s an outdoor mall so that covers my shopping addiction, Dick’s Sporting Goods so that my husband can splurge on his work out attire, equipment and get new soccer cleats for our 10 yr old any chance he gets. I especially love when they host events like the “Rock and Chalk” because everything is free and we are not tempted to spend any money shopping. We enjoyed live music on the lawn, took pictures at the free photo booth, played with musical instruments and chalked it up on the sidewalk.
